News of The First Magic Convention In Indonesia Appeared in Overseas

In addition to an article published in The Linking Ring Magic magazine (October 2012 issue), the news of the first magic convention in Indonesia (Indonesian magic convention): The Garuda Merlion Magic Convention, also appeared in the Singapore International Brotherhood of Magician (The Great Wong Ring / Ring 115) website. It was written by the great magician, Mr. Satish Kumar (member of IBM Ring 115). The tittle of the article is "My Magical Journeys - A report on My Magic Trip to Semarang, Indonesia". 

Garuda Merlion Magic Convention took place from the 11th of April 2012 until the 13th of April 2012 (three days!) in Semarang city, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The magic convention consisted of magic shows, magic competition, magic lectures, magic dealer sessions, and fellowship.

Silvan Prayogo (an Indonesian magician) was the captain of Semarang Magic Community (July 2012 - July 2013) during the Garuda Merlion Magic Convention.

This is the first magic convention in Indonesia covered in two languages (Indonesian and English).

Garuda Merlion Magic Convention is the first magic convention in Indonesia that was organized by Semarang Magic Communiy (SMC) and The Singapore International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 115 (IBM 115 RING). The event received a tremendous and generous support from the IBM 115 RING.
