Semarang Magic Community brought an early Christmas to SemarangCity, Central Java Province, Indonesia. On the 18th of December 2011, Sunday, at 17:00, the great magicians of SemarangMagic Community dazzled visitors at Citraland Shopping Mall with wave after wave of magic shows in an event called Season of Magic with Semarang Magic Community.
Season of Magic with Semarang Magic Community was opened with magic shows by Mr. Valentino (MC of the night) and dr. Harry Susanto Prayogo. Citraland Shopping Mall visitors, especially children, immediately took the best available viewing spots.
The excitement built up as a little girl screamed when dr. HarryPrayogo tried to chopped-off her hand. The blade smoothly sliced a cucumber and went through the girl’s hand. But to everyone’s surprise, her hand remained intact, unharmed.
Mr. Valentino escorted every magic act with his interesting introductions of Semarang Magic Community, its activities, and a brief profile description of each magician. Mr. Valentino also ensured audiences continue to feel the atmosphere of magic with his exciting audience-interaction magic while crews of Semarang Magic Community rapidly prepared the next show behind the stage.
The excitement and curiosity intensified when a large empty box and a masked magician entered the center performance area. The masked magician, Rowman Romiruz, made a brief magic gestures. Then, a beautiful girl mysteriously appeared from the empty box. A series of romantic magic followed between Rowman Romiruz and the lovely girl.
Yerri (the card magician of Semarang Magic Community) and his friends from the Indonesian Card Artist (ICA), demonstrated a skillful card handling, card flourish. Audiences were introduced to a range of card acrobats that require an intense practice.
Ken Daizzels re-introduced the atmosphere of magic with his floating table that involved audience participation. Ken Daizzels became ladies man for the night as you can see in the photo.
Another great talent of Semarang Magic Community, Indra Ferano, brought audiences to appreciate a skillful sleight of hands with his card and cane manipulations. The wonder of magic did not stop with Indra Ferano. Rafi The Master Junior, a child magician, inspired children and parents that magic should be nurtured since childhood. Rafi the Master Junior made the magic atmosphere merrier as he introduced a series of magic acts such as dove productions from a painting, multiple cage and dove production from an empty container, blooming flower productions and many more visually entertaining magic.
The next magician added a little bit of humor into magic. Or maybe more? Bebbo Denoberto tickled audiences with his comedy magic. After a series of magic mishaps such as a mysterious bra production out of nowhere, Bebbo Denoberto wonderfully ended his magic act with colorful color-changing feathered rings.
It was raining heavily during the Season of Magic with Semarang Magic Community. Zue Nara Firdaus solved the weather problem with his multiple black and yellow umbrellas production.
A wonderful beginning should end with a memorable climax. After careful planning and considerations months in advance, this task was successfully executed by Aditya Agunk. An empty box mysteriously moved from side to side and levitated as Aditya Agunk made a series of magic gestures. Then, a lovely girl burst out of the box as Aditya Agunk cast a final magic spell.
Semarang Magic Community expresses many special thanks to those who were involved and supported Season of Magic with Semarang Magic Community such as the management team of Citraland Shopping Mall (Mrs. AP Paramita [event staff] and staff members), dr. Harry Susanto Prayogo, Indonesian Card Artist the Semarang Chapter, Rafi the Master Junior and crews, and the hard-working, resilient, crew members of Semarang Magic Community for the successful execution of this important event near the closing of the year 2011.
Season of Magic with Semarang Magic Community unquestionably implies that Semarang Magic Community has once again proven its capacity as a talented, fully active / functional, and solid magic organization in Indonesia. This Season of Magic is another mark to more exciting magic-related events by Semarang Magic Community.
